Everything you need to know about ISHBiz.UK, the free Business revision platform created by Ms. Haider.
About ISHBiz.UK
Q Is ISHBiz.UK completely free?
Yes - always. There are no student subscriptions or paywalls, no sale of student data and no disruptive programmatic advertising. ISHBiz.UK is supported through teacher-resource income and carefully selected Community Sponsors. Sponsors do not influence educational content or assessment guidance.
Q Which exam board does this cover?
Three separate routes are live: AQA GCSE Business (8132), Pearson Edexcel GCSE Business (1BS0), and Pearson BTEC Level 3 Business Exam Units 2, 3, 6 and 7. Choose the qualification and unit shown by your school.
Q Does it work on mobile?
Yes - ISHBiz.UK is fully responsive. Students can revise on phone, tablet, school laptop, or home computer. Progress syncs across all devices when signed in.
Q Who created ISHBiz.UK?
Ms. Haider holds Qualified Teacher Status and is a Business teacher and examiner currently teaching at a school in East Cheshire, UK. She achieved a Distinction in PGCE Secondary Business Studies at the University of Manchester and brings several years of experience in finance, accounting and taxation, including KPMG. She created ISHBiz.UK because every student deserves clear, accurate and free Business revision, regardless of ability or background.
For Students
Q What is Easy Mode vs Challenge Mode?
The Easy Mode/Challenge Mode toggle at the top of the revision section adjusts the difficulty of all content - simpler language and more scaffolding for Easy Mode, with fuller exam technique and tougher MCQs in Challenge Mode. Switch it to suit the level of support you want.
Q Will my progress save if I close the browser?
Yes - if you're signed in, your progress, points, and streak are saved to the cloud and sync across any device. If you're not signed in, progress saves locally to your browser only.
Q How do I earn points and level up?
Complete each section within a module - Learn (+10), Key Terms (+10), MCQ Quiz (+20, +5 per correct answer), Flashcards (+15), and Exam or Set Task Practice (+25). Complete a full module for a bonus +30 and confetti.
Q What is the WEWW structure?
WEWW stands for What is your judgement, Even though [counter-argument], Why your side wins, Why not the other. It is an AQA revision scaffold on the dedicated AQA Exam Skills page, not specification content to memorise.
Q Do I need an account?
No. You can use every revision activity without signing in, and progress saves locally in that browser. Signing in is optional and lets your own progress sync across devices.
Q I found a mistake - what do I do?
Use the Report a problem with this question link beside the activity. It fills in the exact qualification and question location for you, or you can use the contact form for a general issue.
Student Tools
Q What does the one-minute diagnostic do?
It uses a short selection of existing questions from your chosen qualification to suggest one topic to revise first. The result is a starting point, not a grade or prediction.
Q Is my revision plan private?
Yes. Your chosen date, revision days, and seven-day plan stay in your browser. The website does not send that plan to a teacher or school.
Q What are Revision Checklists?
They are student checklists and calculation reminders generated from the same qualification content used on each course page. Open Revision Checklists, choose your qualification, and print only the sheet you need.
Q How are my next priorities chosen?
The progress area checks unfinished activities and your saved MCQ scores in that qualification. It then links to the two clearest activities to complete or retry next.
